The creek has lots of shade trees along it, perfect to hang in a hummock and listen to the sound of the babbling water. the creek could be dug out etc to create a nice swimming hole. the small building has been gutted and cleaned up, is solid and usable, the lean-to kitchen needs to be redone. the access is 10 min on dirt road, crossing two creeks, you can drive at this time to within 600m or so, the "road" can be easily fixed inexpensively so you can drive straight onto the land. the waterfall is approx. 10 min by car, the whole area is full of trails for either hiking or horseback riding leading up into the mountains. the neighbours ( the immediate ones) are very nice and helpful, they have horses that could be borrowed or rented, they would also take care of yours if you bring your own. water is easy , dig a well next to the creek, electricity was brought in recently and is close by. one could live there full time as a peaceful residence or part time as a weekend/vacation cottage, one lawyer from PV has such a weekend get-away close by. of course being at higher elevation it is cooler up there , especially in summer. the "lay" of the land , approx. half is flat/level along the creek and the rest is a flattened crest, like a mesa overlooking the land with 360 degree view of the mountains. depending where you are, we have a man in El Tuito that will show it to you, the drive from ET is only a few km on hwy 200, south. our tel. no here in mexico is 315 351 7295 or the US&Can 360 618 1783 CLICK HERE FOR BROCHURE
